Pro X Direct Metal Series

Production Printers

What is Direct Metal Printing (DMP)?

Direct Metal printers create chemically pure, fully dense metal and ceramic parts, and they deliver accuracy compatible with EN ISO 2768 (fine) machining tolerances with a repeatability of about 20 microns on all three axes. Materials include stainless steel, tool steel, super alloys, non-ferrous alloys, precious metals and alumina. The output quality of these high-end printers makes them attractive to manufacturers looking to print functional end-use parts.

Direct Metal production 3D printers are the proven industry standard in manufacturing. With the Pro X Direct Metal series printers from 3DSystems, you’ll be able to print particles sizes as low as 5 microns, resulting in better part accuracy, surface finish and feature detail resolution.

Common applications

When complex metal parts are needed fast, these printers will get the job done. These printers are currently being used for orthopedic implants, tire molds, watch manufacturing, aerospace parts, and more!
